Commodore Nereydo and Vince were present at the Winterfest boat parade award gala on February 25th. the LIYC was presented with an award for “best in lights” in the Non-profit 40-59ft category. We were also mentioned in great detail in the USVN coverage of the parade mentioning our club and our tag line about supporting the boating lifestyle in Lauderdale isles and beyond.

Special thanks go to Veronica who le us invade her home and dock to decorate “the good life” obviously we need to thank Rey for the use of his boat and we would not have been able to do it at all without the help of all who participated, from Heather who supplied lights and ligistics to the kids that did a great job dancing and singing during the parade.

Next year the theme is “Party in the USA” a patriotic theme. The date is set for December 12. lets make this another great year…

LIYC hosts USCG vessel inspection event 9/7/25

LIYC hosted the USCG vessel inspector at the Lauderdale Isles Landing boat ramp for free vessel safety inspections. This is a great way to ensure your vessel is ready for the water and avoids those embarrassing moments with friends and family when things do not work or when you get stopped for random inspections.
