Members are encouraged to join the board as new board members are appointed each year. Board members take a leadership role in running event and regular operation of the club. Please be willing to devote time and effort to make the club a great place for members.
Below is a summary of rules for members, for more details please ask for a copy of the bylaws or meet with a board member:
- Membership is for the Member and immediate family. Guests are welcome to the bar and restaurant as paying guest customers at outside prices. Members are asked to limit the number of guests and notify the club for any special needs in advance.
- Guests can be asked to become members if they frequent the facility with a member on a repeated basis. The club reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone at any time. this includes guests who are seen to abuse the guest policy.
- Members enjoy food, drink, facility rental discount as well as discounts for cost of special events such as tennis clinic, swimming classes, and also for partner businesses. such discounts apply to members and their immediate family only.
- Members can make use of the facility during daylight hours even if the bar is not open. Members are responsible for cleaning up after their use of the facilities and for any damage that may occur during their use.
- Members are asked not to bring food or drink to the club especially during bar and kitchen hours of operation. Outside of open hours for the Bar/kitchen, members should confirm by emailing or calling the club to make sure there are no events or the bar/kitchen is closed.
- Members shall refrain from brining pets to the club. if invited to do so, the member is responsible for all cleanup related to the pet.
- Members are responsible for the behavior of their family members and guests. including paying any outstanding bills if applicable. Safety is a must so members and guests must abide to safety rules, signs, etc.
- Members in good standing can put their membership on hold during times of financial or medical hardship. the membership can then be resumed at a later time at current dues.
- Dock space is available for members, like parking, members use such space for a maximum of 6 hours and will contact the club for permission before leaving any vessel or vehicle on the premises overnight agreeing to pay applicable fees for storage.
- Members shall abide by the Bylaws of the club, a copy of these is available upon request at the club.
